Syrian Army Blows Up Terrorists’ Arms Cache in Daraa, Kills Dozens
TEHRAN (FNA) – Tens of terrorists were killed in an army offensive against their positions and a pursuing blast at their arms cache in the Southern province of Daraa. The Syrian army forces targeted one of the terrorists’ hideouts in Daraa al-Balad area on Sunday and destroyed it with all the arms and ammunition inside. Tens of militants were also killed in the attack.
Syrian government forces restarted offensives on Takfiri militants’ positions in Daraa on Saturday, and inflicted large casualties on the terrorists that included a senior commander.
Scores of Nusra Front-affiliated terrorist group of Karama Brigade, including the group’s commander, were killed in the Syrian Army’s operation in Dara’a al-Balad. Zuhair Hossein al-Zoubi alongside dozens of Karama militants were killed in the Syrian army’s offensive on their gathering center in Dara’a al-Balad in the Southern side of Dara’a city.
The Southern part of Dara’a city, particularly Dara’a al-Balad, was the scene of fierce clashes between the Syrian Army and the terrorist groups all over the Friday nights and Saturday morning.
The militant groups suffered heavy death toll and most of their military hardware were destroyed after the Syrian army troops stormed their concentration centers in al-Naziheen camp.
Meantime, a large number of the militant groups’ members were killed or wounded in fierce clashes near Jeleen town, after the government forces stormed their positions on Saturday.
The Syrian army’s operations against the militant groups in the Eastern part of Jeleen near the entrance of Atman town in Northern countryside of Dara’a caused the terrorists to leave behind dozens of dead or wounded members.

On Friday, scores of al-Nusra Front’s members, including the commander of Omar bin al-Khattab Battalion, were killed in heavy clashes with the Syrian Army in Atman town in the Northern side of Dara’a city. Omar Saed al-Najjar alongside many Nusra militants were killed in the Syrian army’s raid on their positions in Atman.
The terrorist group acknowledged on their social networking websites the death of a number of their members, including al-Najjar.
On Wednesday, dozens of al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed in government forces’ offensive on the groups’ positions in Dara’a al-Balad. The army said that the government forces stormed the defense lines of the al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front in Dara’a al-Balad neighborhood, which left scores of the terrorists dead or wounded.
Syrian Air Force Strikes Militants’ Gatherings in Homs Province
TEHRAN (FNA) – The Syrian air force pounded the terrorists’ gathering centers and vehicles in the Eastern parts of the province of Homs on Sunday. The Syrian warplanes hit the positions of the foreign-backed militants near the village of Maheen in Eastern Homs province.
Several vehicles and military hardware of the terrorists were also destroyed in the Syrian fighter jets’ strikes in the vicinity of Maheen village.
On Saturday, the Syrian army and air force inflicted heavy losses on the Takfiri terrorists and repelled their attacks on strategic regions in Homs province and launched a large-scale attack to take back Palmyra (Tadmur) that could serve as a landmark in forcing militants out of the province.
The Syrian fighter jets hit the ISIL positions in the ancient city of Palmyra in Homs province, killing and injuring at least 28 terrorists. The Syrian warplanes bombed the ISIL positions in Palmyra, and killed and wounded at least 28 terrorists, informed sources said, adding militants’ vehicles and military equipment were also destroyed.
Meantime, the Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) launched massive operations against the defense lines of the ISIL along two main roads to Palmyra, military sources announced.
The sources said that the Syrian soldiers and NDF fighters had advanced against the ISIL from Eastern side of al-Bayarat towards the Palmyra Driving School, after engaging in fierce clashes with the militants.
On the other hand, a large-scale operation had been launched by the government forces along the road from Jazal town to Palmyra, in which scores of the terrorist have been killed or wounded thus far.
Also, the army and the NDF fended off a massive assault of the ISIL terrorists in the Southeastern part of Homs city and killed 20 of them in a counter-attack.
Meantime, the ISIL large-scale offensive was repelled by the Syrian forces near Maheen-Sadad road, and the government forces killed 20 terrorists and pushed the other ones back form the fighting area.
Also Syrian warplanes destroyed concentration centers and fortifications of the ISIL terrorists in al-Sawana Sharqia, Jebb Jaraah, Hawareen and in the vicinity of Maheen town in Homs countryside. There are no more details available yet.
The Syrian fighter jets on Saturday massively bombed the ISIL militants’ strongholds in Jebb Jaraah and areas near Maheen town in the Central Homs province, leaving scores of terrorists dead or injured.
Concentration centers of Jeish al-Fath militants across the Idlib came under offensives of the Syrian army troops and popular forces since the early hours of Saturday.
In addition to heavy death toll the militant group sustained, their military vehicles and equipment were also destroyed in the pro-government forces’ operations. The terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of a senior ISIL commander in Homs province.
The terrorist groups said the senior ISIL commander, Haj Hassan Deirbalabawi, and another commander Nizar Abu Shanab were killed in military operations.
Syrian Warplanes Destroy Takfiri Terrorists’ Positions in Aleppo, Deir Ezzur
TEHRAN (FNA) – Syrian warplanes destroyed terrorists’ military positions and hardware in the provinces of Aleppo and Deir Ezzur on Sunday afternoon. The Syrian warplanes hit the positions of the foreign-backed militants in the region of al-Mara’iya in the countryside of Aleppo this afternoon.
In Deir Ezzur, the Syrian jet fighters also pounded the militants’ strongholds in the region of al-Jafra.
The Syrian air force is staging an increasing number of flights in different provinces, specially Aleppo, these days as the country’s ground troops have launched a fresh wave of offensives on militant positions.

The sources said that the Syrian Army’s 4th Mechanized Division, Hezbollah, the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Aleppo city, Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalion) and several Iraqi paramilitaries imposed full control over the important village of Kafr Haddad after a series of intense firefights with the militants of Harakat Ahrar al-Sham, Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki, al-Nusra Front, and Liwaa Suqour al-Sham.
With the capture of Kafr Haddad, the Syrian Armed Forces and Lebanese Resistance are within 25km of the important stronghold of Saraqib in the Idlib province and 30km East of the predominately Shiite towns of Fou’aa and Kafraya.
Army sources announced on Friday that the Syrian Army troops, backed up by the Russian airstrikes, have taken control of approximately 250 square kilometers of land in Aleppo.
“The Syrian army’s operation continues in the Southern and Eastern parts of province of Aleppo,” Brigadier General Ali Mayhoub said.
“In cooperation with civil defense groups we control more than 250 square kilometers, and returned stability to dozens of villages and towns in the region.”
“The army in collaboration with the civil defense forces managed to open the way to Aleppo…to ensure the safe passage of this important route,” Mayhoub added.
The general also said that terrorists sustained a large number of casualties and loss of equipment.
On Thursday, the Syrian army, backed up by massive air support, continued to tighten noose on the Takfiri militants in Aleppo, inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists.
The army destroyed ISIL positions, weapons and ammunition and vehicles in an area in the vicinity of the Air Force Academy.
The army troops also killed and injured a group of terrorists from the al-Nusra Front and other affiliated groups in the villages of Berneh, Tal Haddiyeh, Doulamah and Khan Touman in the Southwestern countryside of Aleppo. Tens of the militants’ machinegun-equipped vehicles were also destroyed.

Militants Sustaining Increasing Defeats in Fierce Clashes with Syrian Army in Aleppo
TEHRAN (FNA) – Reports from various parts of the Northern province of Aleppo on Sunday said the Syrian army and its allied forces are still marching on militants positions in various parts of the province.
Heavy clashes were reported between the Syrian Army and the militant forces in al-Liramoun and al-Ashrafiyeh near the Northern city of Aleppo on Sunday.
The Syrian army and popular forces stormed the strongholds of the militant groups near the said regions, which ended in the destruction of the militants’ military equipment. The terrorists have reportedly sustained heavy casualties in the clashes with the army.
Meantime, informed sources disclosed that the terrorist groups, specially the Al-Nusra Front, have recruited hundreds of foreign militants after sustaining major defeats in the battle against the Syrian army and Hezbollah forces in Aleppo province in the last few weeks.
“The terrorist groups, Al-Nusra Front in particular, are getting ready to confront the army in Aleppo province and they have recruited 2,000 foreign terrorists for the same purpose,” an informed military source said on Sunday.
The Syrian army and popular forces have inflicted heavy losses on the Al-Nusra Front in their recent military operations.
The Syrian army and Hezbollah seized back three towns from the Takfiri militants in Aleppo province on Sunday.
According to the Arabic-language al-Mayadeen television, the Syrian forces won back the towns of Zarawi, Tal Mamu and Azizieh Samaan in Aleppo countryside today.
Tens of the terrorists were killed in the joint operation of the Syrian soldiers and Hezbollah forces in Tal Mamu and al-Azizieh this morning.

The war started early Saturday morning with an intensive bombing campaign by the Syrian and Russian air forces. Syrian fighter jets carried out numerous sorties over ISIL terrorists’ gatherings and positions in the East, Southeast and Northeast of Aleppo city.
The ISIL positions in Sheikh Ahmad, Abu Hinna hill, Ahmar hill, surroundings of Air Force Academy and Kuweires Janoubi were massively bombed by the Syrian warplanes, which left dozes of the terrorist dead or wounded. Many ISIL military vehicles and equipment were destroyed in the airstrikes.

Omar Saed al-Najjar alongside many Nusra militants were killed in the Syrian army’s raid on their positions in Atman.
The terrorist group acknowledged on their social networking websites the death of a number of their members, including al-Najjar.
On Wednesday, dozens of al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed in government forces’ offensive on the groups’ positions in Dara’a al-Balad.
The army said that the government forces stormed the defense lines of the al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front in Dara’a al-Balad neighborhood, which left scores of the terrorists dead or wounded.
Syrian Troops Hit Militants Hard in Damascus
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army killed and injured scores of the Takfiri militants in Damascus province as government troops continue their mop-up operations against the foreign-backed militants across the country.
On Saturday, the army destroyed three pickup trucks and a bulldozer used by terrorists on the road between Jisrin village and al-Nashabiye town in Damascus province, and killed the terrorists Mahmoud al-Rejjal, Hasan al-Kanj, Mohammad al-Idelbi, Walid al-Afandi and Nouri Jamal.
The Syrian army also destroyed positions of al-Nusra Front terrorists in Manshiyet Khan al-Sheih in Damascus countryside, and killed and wounded scores of militants and destroyed their vehicles and weapons.
Also on Saturday, some 60 wanted militants turned themselves in to the Syrian authorities to be pardoned as the army continues to tighten noose around the foreign-backed Takfiri militant in several areas across the country. The wanted persons are from the provinces of Damascus, Quneitra and Homs.
On Oct 28, 49 wanted persons from Damascus, Damascus Countryside, Quneitra, and Hama also surrendered to the competent authorities. On Nov 1, at least 184 terrorists have laid down arms and surrendered to the Syrian authorities in Damascus, Aleppo and Deir Ezzur provinces, local sources said.
Some 184 wanted persons from Damascus, Aleppo and Deir Ezzur turned themselves in to the authorities to be pardoned, provincial officials said.
The army troops, backed by Russian warplanes, have made major advances in their fight against the Takfiri terrorists across the Muslim country in recent days. Following the Syrian-Russian joint operations, thousands of Takfiri terrorists have also fled Syria to Jordan, Turkey and Europe.
