Media Advisory for February 15—Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) will hold a press conference urging support for the INF Treaty Compliance Act. The legislation seeks to de-escalate a new arms race set off by President Trump's announced withdrawal from the INF treaty agreed to in 1987, by ensuring the United States remain in compliance with the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty by prohibiting funding for the testing and evaluation, procurement, or fielding of weapons that would breach the treaty.
